The companies I prefer to do business with are those that I have a personal relationship with the people behind the products or have a knowledge of how the company came to be. For that reason, I will share with you more than just our tents. In my mind I was an aspiring amateur carpenter & seamstress, not a business owner. My daughter was just getting into the sleepover age so I started creating the tents and bedding for her and her friends to enjoy. That is how the Lark Adventure theme came to be. The kids LOVED sleeping and playing in the tents during the sleepovers. So I started doing tent parties for my kids friends as a birthday gift. Each theme was created for a special friend's birthday. During that time, I noticed how the smiles on the parent's faces were bigger than the children's when I would pick up the tents the morning after the sleepovers. The tent parties took the stress of party planning off of the parents and gave them an opportunity to enjoy the moment with their kiddos.

Once we slowly started leaving the safety of our homes after the Covid quarantine, it became apparent to me that our children needed an escape from our fearful world. They needed a safe place to reconnect with their friends and their imaginations. So after 3 years of being an amateur carpenter and seamstress and creating 30+ tents and bedding, Moon Lark was created.

Lark is an old word that means to go on a merry, carefree adventure. To behave in good-natured mischief and play pranks with friends.

Lark is also a bird that sings as it flies high into the air toward the Heavens.

Great Party Supplies

Each tent comes with twinkle lights, a memory foam twin mattress, bedding, decorative pillows, tray, lantern, name frame and sprinkled with magical pixie dust (just kidding). Tent rentals are delivered and set up prior to the party and then packed up and picked up by the Moon Lark team the day after the party.

Our tent rentals are not just for Birthday parties. Sleepover memories should be created throughout your kid's childhood. If you don't see a theme that speaks to your kids heart, please reach out and I will do my best to make their ideas a reality. Isn't that why we always ask children what they want to be when they grow up? Because they always come up with the best ideas!

When booking a Sleepover party, what is included?

All items listed in the standard package, including delivery, collection, assembly, styling.

What payment is required?

We require a $75 deposit to secure your booking, with the party balance to be paid on sleepover date. Your $75 deposit is fully refundable if cancelled prior to 7 days before your party. If cancelled within 7 days of your party the $75 is non-refundable. The security deposit of $75 will be refunded within 3-5 days after the rented items are picked up from the party.

How are Tents cleaned?

All bedding and tent covers are laundered after each rental using sensitive washing detergent. Any decorative items are always disinfected and spot cleaned when necessary.

How much space is needed per Tent?

Mattress/Tent combo -Approx. 35" W x 75" L

Mattress 27"W x 75"L

We can arrange the Tents in many configurations to make them fit together in any space. If you are unsure, please send us a picture of the space available or arrange a pre-visit (for an additional fee) and we can check out how they will fit, this needs to be done prior to 7 days before your party date to avoid the $75 cancellation penalty should they not fit.

What is the rental period?

tandard rental period is approximately 19 hours.

For example: 3pm delivery and set up and 12pm collection and pack up.

Longer rental times can be negotiated subject to availability.

What is your cancelation policy?

A minimum of 7 days notice must be given for requests to change the date of their rental booking. The customer’s request can then be granted if their preferred date is available. Cancellation within the 7 days will result in a forfeit of the $75 reservation deposit.
